Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7)

Seven-item self-report screen for generalized-anxiety severity, coded as reported evidence.

The Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) is a seven-item self-report screen for the severity of generalized-anxiety symptoms. Each item asks how often, over the past two weeks, the person has been bothered by a given problem.

Used here as an evidence scale: highlight the span where the subject reports the experience an item measures (e.g. uncontrollable worry, trouble relaxing, irritability) rather than a linguistic form. Each item is rated on the GAD-7 frequency anchors (0 = not at all ... 3 = nearly every day).
